The SA6 Data Acquisition (DAQ) PCIe card delivers an unmatched combination of performance, size, and value: accurately capturing waveforms at 1 GS/s simultaneously on 2 channels and enabling powerful real-time signal processing into a super-compact footprint.

Thanks to an innovative low‑noise front‑end design, this new generation of 12-bit DAQ card (also named ADC card or digitizer) accurately captures waveforms at up to 1 GS/s, achieving excellent signal fidelity and high‑contrast imaging. Specially designed to meet the needs of OEMs or advanced research teams, the SA6 focuses on addressing typical medical and industrial application needs.

  • Excellent signal fidelity: Innovative low-noise front-end achieving 9.3 ENOB
  • Optimized dynamic range: Flexible full-scale input range selectable by software (250 mV, 500 mV, 1 V, 2 V) allows you to tune signal levels, maximizing both effective resolution and spurious-free dynamic range (SFDR), particularly for low-amplitude signals
  • High-throughput architecture: Streaming and direct GPU transfer via RDMA
  • Low-power consumption: Typical power consumption ~20 W reduces thermal constraints and supports reliable operation.

 

Combined with the Acqiris AQOCT Solution Package, the SA6 integrates high-speed data acquisition, real-time OCT signal processing, and streaming. It delivers clinical-grade image clarity and premium dynamic range, providing low-latency OCT image reconstruction at typical 50–200 kHz A-scan rates. All of this is achieved within the most compact PCIe form factor in its class.

Real-time processing in the FPGA

The FPGA embedded in the SA6 offers:

  • Minimized transfer volumes and faster analysis
  • Direct streaming to GPU (RDMA)
  • Reduced host-computer requirements and cost.

Combined with the streaming capabilities, it enables continuous acquisition of successive triggered waveforms (simultaneous acquisition and readout).
