Acqiris solutions for SS-OCT include dedicated software tools and a flexible on-board FPGA processing engine to meet these requirements. Acqiris SS-OCT solutions optimize your complete SS-OCT system by enhancing image clarity and quality.
Acqiris has experience in both industrial and medical OCT systems for ophthalmology, endoscopy or dermatology, and applications including angiography (OCT-A) and phase sensitive OCT. Our solutions for SS-OCT are bundles designed for customers who want best-in-class performance. You can select to perform all or only part of our available SS-OCT signal processing on-board depending on your application, your existing software components and your own experience.
We propose two data acquisition cards (DAQs / digitizers) targeted to your SS-OCT application:
SA220P: ADC / DAQ card from 100 kHz Ascan rate and up to above 1 MHz, 14-bit, 1 OCT channel at 2 GS/s
SA240P: ADC / DAQ card from 200 kHz Ascan rate and up to above 2 MHz, 14-bit, 1 OCT channel at 4 GS/s

Many decision factors need to be considered when selecting the appropriate signal acquisition card for a SS-OCT project. Decision criteria embodies technological, financial and risks management.
1. Maximize image clarity and quality
Acqiris solutions for SS-OCT come with real time processing, including dynamic K-space re-mapping, FFT, log scaling and fast readout of B-scan to the host computer, C++ API dedicated to SS-OCT allowing to control all programmable features of the ADC card and the dedicated real time OCT processing, project and example for C++ compatible with Visual Studio and a dedicated OCT GUI.
Phase sensitive applications are supported, allowing to read phase and magnitude simultaneously. With custom Integrated Circuit (IC) designed by Acqiris, the SS-OCT solutions implement an unique real-time internal trigger time interpolator enabling a high trigger resolution and a precise and accurate phase measurement.

Acqiris gives flexibility when designing your SS-OCT systems by providing two different form factors: PCIe ADC card or ADC module with serial-link enclosure. You select the version that either provides fewer constraints on your external processors, or that ensures easy design upgrades by “leveraging” a large part of your existing systems.
