SA2 14-bit ADC Cards and Modules

The new SA2 platform is especially optimized for OEM requirements and leverages Acqiris’ new high-performance 14-bit ADC card generation which performs fast signal acquisitions from 1 GS/s up to 8 GS/s, with excellent signal fidelity across a wide bandwidth. Two form factors are proposed: SA2 PCIe Card or SA2 module with serial connection (Thunderbolt and USB-C PCIe).

The SA2 ADC cards / digitizers comes with several firmware options:

  • AVG+CST: Real-time sampling and averaging up to 1MS flight time, up to 65K Trigger
  • PKD (Peak Detection): Real-time peak detection with a histogram of peak versus time for successive acquisitions
  • PKL (Peal-List): To identify pulses and computes a set of characteristics of each pulse
  • CST (Continuous Streaming): To allow simultaneous acquisition and readout
  • NSA (Noise Suppressed Accumulation): to remove noise from the accumulation. This is done by accumulating only the signal that is above a defined threshold. This is also called “zero suppress” mode.
  • OCT engine: Acqiris solution for SSOCT comes with real time processing, including dynamic K-space re-mapping, FFT, log scaling and fast readout of B-scan to the host computer, C++ API dedicated to SS-OCT allowing to control all programmable features of the DAQ card and the dedicated real time OCT processing, project and example for C++ compatible with Visual Studio and a dedicated OCT GUI.
